    Information for the Away Meet on Monday, July 13th vs Queens Lake

    Please see the message below from Queens Lake to help us prepare for our away meet this Monday, July 13th.  Their concessions menu is attached!  Queens Lake does not have Time Drops, so be prepared for everything to be like old times!

    We are excited to welcome Kingsmill Sharks to Queens Lake for our Disney vs. Superhero-themed swim meet on July 13th.

    Who: Queens Lake Eagles vs. Kingsmill Sharks

    Where: Queens Lake Pool
    234 East Queens Drive
    Williamsburg, VA

    Arrival Time: Swimmers should arrive by 5:00 PM.

    Directions & Entrance: Please enter Queens Lake using Lakeshead Drive.

    Parking: Parking will be available in the field adjacent to the pool. Please follow parking attendants' instructions and avoid blocking roads, driveways, or emergency access routes.

    Pool Information: Queens Lake Pool is a 6-lane, 25-meter pool.

    Queens Lake Eagles: 5:00 PM
    Kingsmill Sharks: 5:30 PM

    Meet Start: The meet will begin promptly at 6:00 PM.

    Swimmers Should Bring: A swimsuit or jammers, goggles, towels, a water bottle, and healthy snacks.. An extra pair of goggles is always a good idea.

    Team Areas: Families are encouraged to bring chairs, towels, and shade tents if desired. Space will be available for both teams to set up around the pool deck and surrounding grassy areas.

    Concessions: Our concession stand will be open throughout the meet. The concessions menu is attached to this email. We accept cash and tap-to-pay payments, including credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other mobile wallets.

    Visiting Team Volunteer Needs

    Clerk of Course: 2 per half
    Timers: 9 per half, 18 total
    Ribbons: 1 per half, 2 total, located in the clubhouse
    Scorers: 2 per half, 4 total, located in the clubhouse
    Stroke and Turn Officials: 2–3 per half, 4–6 total preferred

    For stroke and turn officials, we can run the meet with 2 per half from the visiting team, but 3 per half would be helpful if you have enough trained officials available.

    Weather: We are keeping an eye on the forecast and hope for a beautiful evening of swimming.
