I have two exciting announcements for this season!

First, as of May 5, 2026, the Kingsmill Sharks are officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization! This designation helps set us up for long-term financial success. It also means that any future donations to the team may qualify as charitable contributions for tax purposes.

Swim team registration fees cover only about 60% of our annual operating budget, so we rely on corporate sponsors, concessions, and fundraisers to help bridge the gap.

Our second announcement is a fun new fundraiser we’ll be running at all three home meets — a NeeDoh Auction! Each home meet will feature 6 different NeeDoh prizes, giving you multiple chances to win throughout the season.

🎟️ Tickets: $5 each or 5 for $20 (sold at a table during the swim meet)
💳 Payment: Cash, credit card, or Venmo accepted
✍️ Step 1: Write your name on each ticket
🪣 Step 2: Place your ticket in the bucket in front of the NeeDoh prize you’d like to win
🏆 Winners announced: During the volunteer shift change between Breaststroke and Backstroke
✅ Must be present to win
💙 All proceeds benefit the Kingsmill Sharks Swim Team
