Dear Parents,

We want to thank you so much for your financial support, time and children’s effort making this an amazing summer swim season! We had 142 swimmers and 23 Little Sharks this season and seven amazing coaches! Without your wonderful support and countless volunteer hours we could not make summer swim meets and the program happen for these children.

Summer swim has such a special place for so many families from the Little Sharks just learning to swim and finding a love for the sport to highlighting our graduating seniors who have been Sharks since they were in kindergarten.

This year we are trying to work towards becoming a non-profit organization to improve the program for the long-term benefit of the community. With this goal, we implemented QuickBooks, we have started paying taxes and so have made new efforts to raise more income to cover our costs.

We have launched the Little Sharks program for 3–6-year-olds to feed more swimmers into our program, we expanded our corporate sponsorship program, sold merchandise and broadened our concession offerings. All of these initiatives are to help cover our existing costs and to build funds for any needed equipment going forward. For example, last year we purchased new lane lines that cost over $3,000.

With that in mind, if your child had a wonderful experience this summer, we ask that you consider a financial contribution to help support the team in the future. The $150 registration fee annually does not cover our operating costs, it is the extra sponsorships and activities that help cover the gap. Attached, you will see our 2024 estimated budget for the year.
