Hello Shark Families!

We are getting excited for Time Trials this Friday!!  RSVPs for Time Trials are now closed.  A list of Swimmer's events, heats, and lanes will be posted at the pool during Time Trials.  Please arrive at 5:15pm for a quick warm up for the swimmers.  Volunteers will check in at the entrance of the pool.  Volunteer meeting will be at 5:45pm. The meet will promptly start at 6:00pm.  If you signed up for 1st shift, you will be working Events 1-30.  Second Shift will work Events 31-56.  Please follow the events so you know when to report for second shift.  All first and second shift timers please report to the meeting at 5:45pm to check in with Andrew Hill.  All Clerk of Course and Runners meet at 5:45pm with Ashton Shoemaker.

Friendship Meet with Powhatan Secondary, Monday, June 17th:

Powhatan Secondary Pool address is 201 Charter House Lane, Williamsburg, 23188.  Map can be found under "Links" of Kingsmillsharksswimtopia.com.

Information from Powhatan Secondary's President:

There is a parking lot and overflow can park along the surrounding streets. Please avoid blocking driveways.

Pool Lanes: 6

Concessions: We'll have hot dogs, burgers, drinks, chips, candy. We accept cash and Venmo payments (QR code at concessions).

We have also arranged for the Polar Snow shaved ice truck to be at the meet on the 17th. I'm sorry, I do not know what forms of payment they accept.

Team Set Up/What to Bring: Your team is welcome to set up on the far side of the pool, opposite the starting blocks. There is a large yard area surrounding the pool and families are welcome to set up there. I would recommend chairs and bug spray.

We have theme nights for our meets. The theme for the 17th is Glow night, wear neon or glow things after dark. Participation isn't required, I'm just letting you know in case your team may like to join in.

Clerk of Course: There will be a table, tents and benches set up just outside the gate to the pool. As swimmers get closer to their event there are chairs set up behind each block.

**Please wear green to this event to show your Kingsmill Sharks Spirit!!  Please have your child in their Kingsmill Swimsuit. 

Events, Heats, and Lanes will be written on your swimmer's hand on Monday MORNING during practice (Yes practice switches to morning June 17th)!!
