Our first away meet (in two years!!) will be this Monday at First Colony. The address is 125 Pasbehegh Drive, Williamsburg. Warm ups begin at 5:30pm, so please be at the pool by 5:15. The team has passed along some important information regarding Covid mitigation strategies. We expect all of our Sharks to comply.

• Swimmers: Sharks will stage outside the fenced pool deck. Swimmers will remain with their families until they are called for their event. Since we have to start organizing outside the pool deck, we ask all of our swimmers to pay extra close attention. Once the swimmers enter the pool deck, a second staging/holding area will be at the near side of the pool deck next to the baby pool. One heat of swimmers will line up behind the blocks at a time. For heats of 9-18 year olds, they will run flyover starts in order to minimize swimmer interaction behind the blocks.
  
• Spectators should plan to set up in the field surrounding the pool. Spectators will be allowed inside to watch their swimmer’s heat from the designated area between the shallow end and baby pool. They should enter through the main gate then exit after their swimmer has completed their swim. Visiting spectators will exit through the main gate.
  
• Amenities/Concessions: The restrooms on the pool deck will be available to all as needed. Concessions will be sold under the pavilion - snacks, desserts, candy, ice cream, beverages. A food truck (Old City BBQ) will also sell food.
  
• Masks: In accordance with the current CDC recommendations, fully vaccinated individuals are not required to wear a mask. Non-vaccinated individuals should wear a mask when distancing is not possible. Swimmers will not be required to wear masks.
