Please arrive by 5:15pm at First Colony for warm-ups. 

First Colony will be using timer sheets tonight (like we did at the Fords Colony meet).  It is important to make sure your swimmer has their event/heat/lane written on their hand.  First Colony runs a very fast meet...so make sure your swimmer reports to clerk of course at the appropriate time. First Colony also does starts from both sides so the timers don't change the sides of the pool.  Also, VERY IMPORTANT- First Colony will be doing flyover starts for the 9 and older swimmers.  This means that the swimmers will remain in the pool (against the wall under the block) after their race until they begin the next heat.  Matt will explain this at practice today!

It will be very hot today...as tempting as it is... please keep your swimmer off of the playground (located beside the pool).  We don't want any of our swimmers overheating, getting injured or missing their events.

There will be a full concession stand that will accept cash.
